Women's Communication Workshop
Speak your truth without shrinking, snapping or spiralling
A 5-part audio workshop and workbook for the ambitious woman who knows what she needs, but loses her voice, over-explains, shuts down or abandons herself when she's dating or in a relationship.
You'll learn to treat what you think and feel as valid, work out what you actually want and need, and say it clearly, without feeling too much or not enough.
Instant access. The audio and workbook are yours for life. Do the whole workshop and if you're not satisfied, I'll refund you in full within 30 days.
What you'll be able to do
✓ Know what you want and need, and separate it from what he wants
✓ Say it once, clearly, without apologising or over-explaining
✓ Stay yourself when he's in a mood, and decide whether he can meet you
This is for you…
You know what you want to say, but when you try to say it, it comes out wrong. Misunderstood. Watered down. Or "too much".
If you're dating and want a partner
He asks where you'd like to go for dinner and you say "I don't mind, you pick." You do mind. By the third date you want to tell him you're looking for something serious, but you keep it light so you don't scare him off. You laugh along, agree with most things, and play the easy-going version of yourself. What you actually want is to say what you're after, plainly and without apologising, and be yourself from the first date. At work you'd never second-guess yourself like this.
If you're dating again after a long relationship
You spent years keeping the peace in your marriage, so you got very good at not saying things. Now a man you're seeing asks what you're looking for, and your mind goes blank. You hear yourself saying whatever sounds easy and low-maintenance, and you drive home annoyed that you didn't say what you actually want.
If you're in a relationship
You bring up something that's been bothering you, gently, and within a minute he's defensive or he's gone quiet. You end up explaining it three times, or it comes out as "you never listen". Afterwards you go over it again and again: did I say it wrong, why can't he just hear me? Other times you say nothing for weeks to keep the peace, then it all comes out at once over something small.
Why it keeps happening
Somewhere along the way you learned that what you think and feel isn't valid, or that saying it causes problems. So you edit it before it comes out. You shrink it, explain it three times, or keep it to yourself.
You can usually feel it happen: your throat or chest goes tight, and the words change, or you’ve overexplained and didn’t want to.
It's because you don't yet trust that what you want matters.
That's where this workshop starts.
Is it me? Partly. How you speak up is yours, which means you can change it. Not all of it is yours, though. Part 2 shows you how to separate what you want from what he wants.
What you want
—
To say what's true for you without shrinking, snapping or spiralling
—
To tell him what you're looking for, without worrying it'll scare him off
—
To be yourself, on a first date or ten years in, not the easy-going version
—
To answer "what do you want?" honestly, instead of "I don't mind"
—
To know whether he can meet you there, instead of waiting and hoping he'll change
—
To bring something up without it turning into defensiveness or distance
—
To feel safe saying your standards, wants and boundaries, and have them respected
—
To be heard and understood without over-explaining or feeling "too much"
What’s Inside
Five audio parts and a workbook. Each part teaches one thing, in order, and you practise it in your next conversation or date before you move on. [Total listening time, and roughly how long each part runs.]
-
For when you swallow what you think and feel because it seems like too much, or not important enough to bring up. You'll start trusting that what you think and feel is worth saying.
-
For when someone asks what you want and you say "I don't mind", or you can't tell whether you want something or just want him to be happy. You'll be able to tell your wants from his, and stand by yours.
-
For when you have something to say, then he goes quiet, gets defensive or goes cold, and you drop it so you can calm him down or keep him interested. You'll stay steady and still say what you wanted to say, on a date or in a long relationship.
-
For when you want to talk about something real, like where this is going or what's been bothering you, and he changes the subject, or you can't decide whether to bring it up at all. You'll know the difference between small talk, big talk and hard talk, check in with yourself first, and see whether he can go there with you. When you're dating, that tells you early whether he can meet you.
-
For when you water it down, over-explain, or say sorry before you've even started. You'll say it in a sentence or two, stand by it, and know it's been heard.
Also included
Workbook with scripts and reflection prompts for each part
Body-based practices to settle yourself before and after hard conversations
Real examples of what to say, and what to stop saying
One action step after each part to use straight away
By the end, you'll be able to
—
Know what you think and feel, and treat it as worth saying
—
Tell what you want apart from what he wants
—
Tell a man what you're looking for early, without worrying it'll scare him off
—
Say what you need in one or two sentences, without apologising
—
Stay steady when he's moody, defensive, quiet or cold
Tell whether a man can meet you in a hard conversation, and decide if that works for you
—
Why I made this
I made this because I've lived it. I know what it's like to speak your truth and still not feel heard. To wonder if you're too much, or not doing it right. To manage how you say things so someone else feels comfortable, while you quietly leave yourself out.
What I had to learn was that what I think, want and feel is valid. Once I knew that in my body, not just in my head, I could say it.
This workshop isn't about fixing you, because you're not broken. It's about coming back to the woman who already knows what she needs, and giving her a voice. I've worked with more than 250 women on this, and this workshop is the part of that work you can do on your own.

Most of those help you understand your pattern. This workshop is about practising a different response, in your body, in real conversations. If you can explain why you overexplain or go quiet but still do it, this is the part that's been missing.
-
Yes, whether you're dating to find a partner or dating again after a long relationship. You'll use it on dates and in messages: catching the urge to overexplain, noticing when you're shrinking to be liked, and seeing early whether a man can meet you.
-
Yes. It's built for the conversations that keep going the same way: the ones that end in a fight, a cold silence, or you letting it go when you didn't want to.
-
Item descriptionNo. You do this on your own. When you respond differently, the conversation changes, but you can't control what he does with it. Part 4 helps you see how much connection he's able to offer. If you both want to work on it together, I also offer couples coaching.
-
No. This workshop works with what happens in your body now, in real conversations. If you want to work on where the pattern started, that's what 1:1 coaching is for.
-
No. There are examples of what to say, but the work is noticing your reaction in your body and practising a different response in your next conversation.
-
[Each part runs about X minutes, plus a few minutes of workbook.] It's self-paced and yours for life, so you can listen while you walk or drive.
-
You start practising after Part 1, in your very next conversation or date, so you'll know quickly whether it's working for you. It won't change him or guarantee you meet someone. It changes how you respond, which is the part you control.
-
[How it's delivered, for example: an email straight away with your audio and workbook links.]

Each part gives you one thing to practise in your next conversation, so you'll know quickly whether it's helping. If you listen to the whole workshop through, do the workbook and the exercises, and you're not satisfied, email me within 30 days of buying and I'll refund you in full.
